Halloween was Kevin's 21st birthday! So we decided to have a little birthday bash with our English friends on Wednesday night. Our friends Laurence and David C., let us invade their house. They're awesome for letting us do that. Don't worry, that's how Laurence normally is.
We had the very traditional American college student dessert, Pizookie. A Pizookie is a GIANT chocolate chip cookie with a tub of vanilla ice cream on top. It's one of those desserts that has a special power of making its consumers extremely happy and extra friendly.
We played a few games after the huge sugar rush including Signs which involves secretly passing around an imaginary ball by doing a specific sign.
The catch is that there is a person in the middle who is trying to figure out how has the "ball."
We played another game called Fish Bowl with has three rounds using the same written clues. The first is like Taboo, the second is like Charades and the third is like...well...you say one word and your team has to guess.
It was a great night hanging out with these amazing people that mean so much to me.
Thanks Doug, Dave B., Dave C., Laurence, Jon, Simeon, Nino, Dan, Lavinia, and Jade for coming and spending your weekday night with us. God has really blessed me with these relationships that I know will continue for a long, long time.
Today is the 5th of November like the saying "remember remember the fifth of November." It's an English holiday where people have giant bonfires and set off fireworks. Tomorrow, we are going to Tyler Hill with all our friends to partake in the festivities. Cheers!
