Pancakes, Pizookie and Janice!

This morning we had a bunch of our English friends over this morning for pancakes. 

Also, Janice and her friend, Lisa, arrived in Canterbury this morning!!!!! They both study abroad in Cordoba, Spain through the UC system. They decided to come to England for the weekend - why not stop in Canterbury for a day? They flew into London at midnight last night and they had to wait outside in the freezing London bus station until 7:30am when they caught a bus here. After a hot shower and pancakes they were ready to explore our city. 


We took them around to the cathedral, High street, the King's school, and markets and shops. For lunch, we ate some tasty fish and chips. 

For dinner, we made some mac 'n' cheese made with real English cheddar. American meets England in a happy comfort food.


To finish the night, Janice and Lisa requested that have Pizookie (GIANT cookie with piles of ice cream). How can we deny our fellow Americans/English friends? 

Tomorrow we are heading into London with Janice, Lisa and our English friend Doug. Only fun adventures await us! and....our friend, Chelsea (Shelty), from California is flying to London for a week to visit us. So excited! Ok. Time for bed, Good night!
